I both paint and do traditional signwritting and see them both as an art form in their own right.  

Drawing, doodling, lettering and painting is something that I have always just found myself doing either subconsciously or when I  find time to stop and actively engage in a piece of art whether that be a painting or a decorative sign.

I mainly paint with oils on board and a variety of subjects.  I have chosen three paintings of Bath and a portrait of my old black lab, Monty.  I really enjoy the beach and seascapes are a firm favourite to paint.

I have shown my art and signs at local art trails and at the RUH, selling various pieces.  I have also carried out commissions, with my paintings being sold outside of Bath.

I run a small building firm which keeps me busy but I'm working towards spending more time producing my art and hope to show more works on my website once its up and running.  I have two Instagram accounts,  paintingfromhome and tradvintagesigns where works can been seen.
