Amy Ng Kam Mei

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Ng Kam Mei Amy is an artist working between the Uk and Hong Kong. She deals with different mediums, specializing in wooden and metal sculptures. From 2009 to 2022, she had a studio in Fo Tan and actively participated in various creative art projects and art teaching, specified in sculpting and painting. From 2006 to 2011, Amy worked as the Higher Diploma Program in Fine Arts instructor at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Amy is a member of the Hong Kong Sculpture Society. Over the years, she has held seven solo exhibitions two of them in London of paintings and wood sculptures and participated in various group exhibitions. Her works can be found in many private collections.

Amy's art is being influenced by both Chinese and Western culture. Mostly she uses techniques of western arts to create her work, with employments of some Chinese elements. Through the abstract art forms, she would like to conveys her internal emotions and thoughts to the others.
