David is a full time artist and photographer working in the city of Bath. His subject is inspired by what's around him. He paints in oils and works from photos taken when wandering around the city. 'As artists we are constantly developing and progressing; the more I paint the more I see new possibilities – to this end I often experiment with new ideas.' His passion in painting and in life is people, whether they are models or just people in the street. He has always done street photography alongside his painting and all this visual imagery has kept him going with endless subject matter. His style varies from realism to semi-abstract elements including using negative space literally to separate positive sections.

He is represented by the Bradford Gallery at 15 Station Approach, Bradford-on-Avon BA15 1FQ and is currently an artist/contributor to 'The Artist' magazine. He is a member of the Bath Society of Artists.
