I am an artist based in Bath and completed an MA in fine art at Bath Spa university in 2021. My practice is full of colour and gravitates towards aerial landscape. I use collage to distill the essence of a place and paint in acrylic usually on canvas. I have an online presence with New Blood Art and currently have work in London with Little Van Gogh.

Essentially my work is about Place. I’m drawn to a big view, am most interested in colour and form and am thinking about the impact humans have on the physical environment. Walking is pertinent to the practice as is aerial photography, both to enable an understanding of past, present and future in the land it represents and my own journey through it.

My work is increasingly abstracted. Collages made literally or in my mind are helping me distil the essence of the place I perceive. 

Recent works exploit the shapes, colour and patterns observed, in skies, land and sea. All seen through changing light and different seasons.
