Abigail Waddell

I am a contemporary landscape painter working mainly in oils.

I live in the Cotswolds, and paint mainly local landscapes, inspired when out and about walking in local fields, villages and towns. I also paint scenes related to my favourite places in the UK, in particular NW Scotland where I have spent every summer for the past 25 years, also Wales, Devon and Cornwall.

I sketch and paint en plein air, often finishing works or creating larger works when back in the Studio in Ewen. The studio is in beautiful countryside a stone’s throw from the Thames path. I offer studio visits and workshops on site. I am always happy to chat about art or take any enquiries re commissions, studio visits or workshops- just ask!
