Charlie is a professional landscape and figurative oil painter, selling his work - prints and originals - on the streets of Bath to local residents and tourists during all months and in all weathers. He started painting in watercolours as a ten year old boy, growing up on a dairy farm in Wiltshire, near Castle Combe.

Charles has been working professionally selling his work since 2021 and had his first solo exhibition at the Guildhall in central Bath in November 2021.

Charlie prefers to paint from life wherever possible, and enjoys the excitement of painting at events which have included, among others: The King’s Coronation, Goodwood Revival and has even painted live at the Rec (Bath Rugby), making a cameo appearance on BT Sport Live!

Charlie is also very passionate about fairness and creating opportunities for artists like himself and so with New Bath Arts Club, seeks to bring together local artists to collaborate and support one another; to make Bath a central platform and hub where artists can promote themselves and their work.
