Penny worked designing stage sets and creating pen and ink artworks in Chippenham before starting a career as a Social Worker. Art has been a long time passion however, and now she has more free time she is busy exploring various mediums and styles, with special interest in Figurative work and still life. Penny enjoys playing with colour and pattern in her paintings. She Recently won ‘Best in Show’ at the 2023 Calne Music & Arts Festival Open Exhibition, and has been invited to exhibit at the Nova Gallery in Marlborough.

Penny as also contributed to mural art projects in Calne, and led one project working on her own design .
